Legislature proceedings to be televised on LaTV Starting Monday, political aficionados and others will be able to watch the Legislature in action four hours a day on LaTV. Louisiana Public Broadcasting spokesman Bob Neese said the state television entity will take the feed of the House and Senate floors and uplink it to cable operators across the state between 2 and 6 p.m. Neese said the plan is to present floor debate, but if none is scheduled, House and Senate committee action will be televised. LaTV programming will run Mondays through Fridays in the four-hour time slot for the special session and continue though the regular session that begins April 25. |
