Duplessis Blames Talk Show Host

State Senator Ann Duplessis of New Orleans authored the bill to double legislators' pay. She's blaming talk-show host Moon Griffon for the veto.

According to Sen. Ann Duplessis, D-New Orleans, the veto of the obscene lege pay raise was due solely to statewide radio talk show host, Moon Griffon stirring up a "few people."

Despite the public outcry against the pay raise, Duplessis remains defiant. She says the people were not upset; we didn't know the facts.
