Three bills that would curb the use of cell phones while driving cleared a House committee Monday.
All three are among a wide array of cell phone bills winding through the Legislature, including a more sweeping measure awaiting state Senate action. The session ends on June 23.
The bills won approval from the House Committee on Transportation, Highways and Public Works. All three have already won Senate approval and next face action in the full House.
