The police chief of the Baton Rouge Metro Airport is under investigation for allegedly sending inappropriate text messages to a teenage girl he coached on his daughter’s softball team.
David Anthony, 48, was placed on paid administrative leave Friday, after Metro Airport officials learned of the Zachary Police Department’s investigation into his relationship with the girl, who was then 15, airport spokesman Ronnie Pickard said Thursday.
“He is suspended for an indefinite timeframe until the investigation is concluded,” Pickard said.
