The first televised debate among the top four candidates in the governor's race will air Thursday from 7-8 p.m. on WLAE-TV 32 in New Orleans and on Louisiana Public Broadcasting stations throughout the state.
The debate is sponsored by LPB and the Council for a Better Louisiana, a nonpartisan public interest group.
State Sen. Walter Boasso, Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell, businessman John Georges and U.S. Rep. Bobby Jindal will participate. The debate will air live from the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge. A panel of journalists and viewers will pose questions.
