Sally Nungesser is principal of Nungesser Consulting LLC (NC), a fundraising firm for Republican candidates in Louisiana. NC is currently raising funds for the 2010 reelection campaigns of Congressman Steve Scalise and Congressman John Fleming, the election campaign of Hunt Downer in the 3rd Congressional District open seat, and for Secretary of State Jay Dardenne’s special election campaign for the office of Lieutenant Governor. NC raised funds for Congressman Rodney Alexander’s reelection, Congressman Steve Scalise’s special election and reelection, Congressman John Fleming’s election, and Supreme Court Justice Greg Guidry’s election campaigns in 2008. In 2007, NC raised funds in Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain’s campaign and worked in Sammy Kershaw’s race for Lieutenant Governor.

Sally Nungesser has raised more than $8 million for Governor Bobby Jindal and served as his fundraising consultant when he began his political career in 2003, in his successful run for Congress in 2004 and handled special projects in his election as Governor in 2007. Sally Nungesser was chief fundraiser for Governor Mike Foster from 1997 until he left office in 2004, raising more than $4 million for his successful reelection campaign. She also raised campaign funds in Louisiana for President George W. Bush. Sally was Finance Director of Treen for Governor in 1979, Coalitions Director of the Bob Dole campaign in 1996 and was in charge of President George W. Bush’s primary campaign in Louisiana in 2000. She coordinated the meeting of the Southern Governors’ Association in New Orleans in August of 2002, and was a Delegate and the Secretary to the Louisiana Delegation at the National Republican Convention in Philadelphia in 2000.

Sally was Assistant Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner and Chief of Staff, for the Louisiana Insurance Department. She has also been the marketing coordinator for a national packaged goods company and served in the administration of Governor Dave Treen as Director of his Office of Public Relations.
