BATON ROUGE -- Officials at the state Office of Motor Vehicles said today they have received a design for a special prestige license tag from the New Orleans Saints commemorating the team's Super Bowl victory and are in the process of making a sample tag. But office spokeswoman Michelle Rayburn said she cannot estimate how long it will take to have the sample plate back to team officials for a final OK. She could not say when the tags will be available to the Who Dat Nation. "Basically, the design has been submitted to the state for approval," said Saints Vice President of Communications Greg Bensel. "We checked on the approval status ... Wednesday and they still did not have it nor did they have a timeline for when we would get it." Rayburn said the sample tag was submitted a few days ago and sent to Prison Enterprises, the arm of the state prison system that makes license plates and performs other business-related functions. "We don't know when it will get back," Rayburn said.
