Democratic campaign worker Renee Lapeyrolerie is the new executive director of the Louisiana Democratic Party, party Chairman Buddy Leach announced.
Lapeyrolerie served as political director for U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu’s successful re-election campaign in 2008. She also worked in former Gov. Kathleen Blanco’s campaign as well as in now-New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s race for lieutenant governor.
