In the 2010 Vote and the Shreveport Mayor's race, another candidate makes it official. In a KTBS 3 News Exclusive, State Representative Roy Burrell announced plans to make a run for Shreveport's Mayor. Burrell has worked for the past 8 years at the Louisiana Legislature, before that, serving 8 years on the Shreveport City Council. If elected, Burrell says he wants to continue his efforts toward the completion of I-49, wants to work on the future of the GM plant, and he wants to bring in more industrial development to the city.
