State Treasurer John Kennedy’s bid to eliminate jobs in state government spurred a question last week about LSU football coach Les Miles’ position. Kennedy fielded questions during Thursday’s “The Jim Engster Show” on WRKF.
As a member of a commission set up to suggest ways to cut costs in state government, Kennedy recommended reducing the number of state jobs.
One of the questions raised during his radio appearance was whether Kennedy would want LSU to get a new football coach if Miles leaves. Kennedy said he hopes Miles stays.
