Less than ten percent of East Baton Rouge voters made it to the polls Saturday.
At the East Side Fire Station on Old Hammond Highway, only 146 people had voted by 7:00. Fred Sliman with the Clerk of Court's Office says that precinct likely had higher voter turnout than most. And there is a lot at stake, from money for schools to taxes for fire protection.
