Roy O. Martin of Alexandria has been appointed by Gov. Bobby Jindal to the Commission on Streamlining Government.
The commission is responsible for identifying savings to help aid future projected budget deficits and ensure that state funds are well-spent. Martin is an officer and director of Roy O. Martin Lumber Co. LLC, and a member of the Greater Alexandria Economic Development Committee.
